Current Positions

The LEHDER team consists of over 40 talented technologists, scientists, engineers, and project managers. We are currently looking for junior and intermediate to senior level industrial air quality specialists to join our team in Sarnia.


Air Quality Specialist - Junior


The successful candidate will join our Industrial Services Group and will be part of project teams focused on creating source and emission inventories; dispersion modelling; compiling Emission Summary and Dispersion Modelling Reports and ECA Applications; and preparing NPRI/GHG/Toxics Reduction calculations and reports.

Qualifications

  • Degree or Diploma in Environmental Science, Chemistry, Atmospheric Science, Engineering, Environmental Technology or related field
  • Exceptional computer literacy, with emphasis on Microsoft Excel
  • Proficiency in math and data analysis, with demonstrated attention to detail
  • Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
  • High level of intrinsic motivation with the ability to multi-task effectively
  • Ability to develop creative and effective solutions to challenges
  • Demonstrated success in a fast-paced team environment

Air Quality Specialist - Intermediate/Senior


The successful candidate will join our Industrial Services Group. Project work will include creating source and emission inventories including calculation development; conducting dispersion modelling for both permitting and incident scenarios; compiling Emission Summary and Dispersion Modelling Reports and ECA Applications; preparing NPRI/GHG/Toxics Reduction calculations and reports; communicating with clients; writing proposals; and managing project timelines, budgets, and deliverables.

Qualifications

  • Degree or Diploma in Environmental Science, Chemistry, Atmospheric Science, Engineering, Environmental Technology or related field
  • 5+ years experience in air permitting, emission inventory development, and/or dispersion modelling using AERMOD, SCREEN3 or CalPuff
  • Demonstrated expertise in Excel with emphasis on data analysis, calculation development using a variety of functions, and QA/QC strategies
  • Experience in interpreting and applying regulatory requirements
  • Strong skills related to technical writing, and oral and written communication
  • Project management experience is an asset
